CIS Is My Friend
CIS is a very good friend
I can read books
From beginning to end
Sometimes if I struggle over words
That I don’t understand
CIS is always there to give me
A helping hand
I can read books that are special to me
Or I can look up telephone numbers
If I have an emergency
I have met a new friend, that
Helps me to read
She is very nice and listens patiently
I am so lucky to have her for a tutor
Because, after I read, she lets me go
To the computer
At the computer, I take a test
So I try to do my very best
When I go home, I read to my family
They love to listen, they’re so proud of me
When I read a book, I can do anything
I can go around the world, or just play
On a swing
I am so glad that I can read a book from beginning to end
That’s why CIS is my friend
