I’m on my knees saying and praying, hoping evil will freeze/
Not everybody gets a second chance/
To pick up books and enhance your skill and knowledge life demands/
We make plans to take stands may break or make friends/
In the end you’re with you so/
You make your ends/
Let me tell you how CIS done changed my life/
Got me putting my education first and me living right/
Got people at the PLC morning and night/
Helping kids to stay in school and prepare them for life/
This ain’t about y’alls contest hoping I win some dollars/
It’s about the message reached and I hope some follows/
If you’re not worried about your education, you is a fool/
My community is involved with my school
