Communities In Schools has helped Adrian School of Performing Arts with donating so many books! Along with Accelerated Reader books, they have also given us science equipment, and they have given us the joy and excitement of reading books! A.R. books do a lot of things for us. A few things that they do are they help you learn, broaden your vocabulary, challenge your imagination, and changes the way you look at things.

The best book I have ever read, was called Where the Red Fern Grows, by Wilson Rawls. It changed my outlook on things and my attitude on things. I became so involved in that book, that I actually became the people in the book and suffered when they did.

Books have done a lot for me over the past few years, including challenging my imagination. They have dared me to read harder books, and learn about things I'm not normally interested in.

Books broaden my vocabulary, and help me learn new things. Words that I didn't originally know, I can easily tell you what they mean now. I can learn all kinds of things through books. CIS has given our school so much, that I just had to take this opportunity to write this essay. Thank you so much! We appreciate all you do for our school.

Sincerely,
Anna Hutcheson
