In an effort to help disadvantaged students start the new school year ready to learn, Communities In Schools (CIS) of Georgia partnered with the Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation and Norcross Cluster to host a Partnering for School Success BBQ at Farmhouse 17 in downtown Norcross.
The event featured a BBQ lunch by Tucker’s Catering, a silent auction and attendees learning how they can help change the picture of education for at-risk students in Georgia.
