   Performance Learning Centers^® (PLCs)
The PLCs serve high school students who are not succeeding in a traditional setting. 
CIS seeks matching funds for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation grant to expand the innovative PLCs throughout Georgia.  An additional $3.4 million is needed, mostly for equipment and other capital costs.  Click here to learn more.

   Student Achievement Month (SAM) Sponsorship
SAM was designed to recognize Georgia students who received CIS services and are sometimes overlooked and often expected to underachieve.  The contest helps them set new goals and gain a better understanding of the importance of academic achievement and staying in school.  It also helps students assume responsibility for self-improvement and self-discipline.  Click here to learn more.
